I had one. A family member currently has one. I've also test driven one in the last couple of years. I find them sluggish and they're awful on gas mileage.

That's what matters the most. The rest are just bells and whistles and window dressings. Not saying extra amenities aren't worth it, but when you strip it on down, Acura is Honda, Infiniti is Nissan and Lexus is Toyota.
While true...the difference in luxury between a Lexus and a Toyota is infinitely more than an Acura and a Honda.

Perhaps. The only Honda and Acura I have seen to compare are a Pilot and MDX. The newly redesigned Pilot appeared to offer a nice interior and great bang for your buck. I personally prefer the interior of the MDX over the current 460.

Mine is an 08. Doesn't feel underpowered or sluggish at all.

What??? I think the MDX looks cheap. Wife looked at them as well and we both couldn't really tell we were in a "Luxury" vehicle.

Considered it recently.
Solid build quality.
Top heavy ride.
Dog slow. 0-60, 8.0.
Pass.

It's on the short list for my wife's next vehicle. In the running with the Acura MDX.

Lexus might be bring a new model GX 460 in 2019 or 2020
Posted on 7/23/18 at 3:00 pm to RedRifle
It's actually 7.8, but still.
It's not a crossover like others that are mentioned in this thread. It would be by far the most capable off-road, but who does that in this vehicle?

Wouldn't buy that vehicle until Lexus updates the interior much like they did for the RX and LX.

I had an uber drive in an Acura TLX. Felt like a Camry. Not even Avalon level luxury.

The GX 460 is dated to me. Still a very nice vehicle. As others have said, Toyota stereos are god awful. Hmm... if apple play does come to the LC, I may have to consider trading in my 2016 for a new one.

Toyota’s new 2019 Avalon was just announced at the 2018 North American International Auto Show, and the new model includes a long-awaited and welcome addition: Apple’s CarPlay platform, a first for a Toyota car, according to AppleInsider.

The company confirmed in a comment to MacRumors that CarPlay will show up in additional 2019 cars from Toyota and Lexus that run the company’s Entune 3.0 (for Toyota) and Enform 2.0 (for Lexus) infotainment platforms as well. It has yet to clarify whether or not 2018 models already running those platforms will get support through a software update. On the 2019 Avalon, users will be able to interact with CarPlay through the 9-inch capacitive touchscreen. (Despite featuring a standard Qi wireless charger, there’s sadly no support for wireless CarPlay, so you’ll still have to plug in a cable to take advantage of the feature.) The new model also features Toyota’s first integration of smartwatch and Amazon Alexa compatibility through the Toyota Remote Connect,
