Where is the fish reunion? The ol' "shoebox" may still have a few treasures in it.

It depends on the artist.
To this day, I regret not buying a large collection at an estate sale in Bocage. They had twenty of them, asking $40 each, and the wouldn’t break them up. I pass on them and head home. I start researching the artist (all the same artist), and discover his decoys sell anywhere from $100-$500 each. I go back the next day and they were gone.

I forgot about collecting coins. I have a nice collection of old coins that passed my way over the years. The oldest is a 1901 Silver Dollar my granny gave me.

I have a collection of decks of cards that are themed or from different places. At one point I had a few people who would pick me up a deck when they went to different places.
We also use to play cards so much and several different people's houses so I went to the Belle (this was years ago) and told them I was doing a project on probability and that I needed a lot of decks of cards and dice and if there was any chance they had any they could let me have for my project. They gave me maybe 30 decks of cards, maybe 15 pair of dice (cards and dice had hole in the middle of them). I gave 3 decks to each person whose house we played at s o that we would always have extra if needed and for some reason kept the rest so all of those are in my collection as well.
