Elocon is an excellent choice for beard rash. It is prescription cream.

Don't touch your face or you'll get the virus and die.

Conditioner. It’s itchy because it’s dry. They make special beard shampoos if you’re that serious about it. I use my wife’s conditioner. It’s cheaper and works fine.

Same.

My wife has this fancy conditioner that probably adds a few years to the age at which I'll retire, but man, it makes my beard soft.

Gotta do it right though.

Step 1: Get in shower and get everything wet

Step 2: Put conditioner in beard. Thick coating and rub it around.

Step 4: Do everything else you need to do in the shower without washing it out.

Step 5: Lightly wash it out. Don't soak face or scrub it out, just lightly rinse it out.

Done.

Use your wife’s conditioner after you wash your heard to soften the hair up.

For some reason I shaved my beard off yesterday. Please downvote and shame me with all your might.

It’s not gonna happen again

You just have to push through it. There's like a 7-10 period that's awful.

Nothing.
I bathe and shave daily, like a respectable human.

There's a local place here that sells expensive shampoo bars, soaps, laundry detergent, and oils. Similar to the shampoo/conditioner delaying retirement age above, but they sell a shower oil that smells great. I rub it all in my beard after I wash my face. You're supposed to rub it on like a lotion and rinse it off, but I leave it in the beard. Softens it up, smells great, and the wife can't resist. It is mainly coconut and sunflower oils, with some natural scents mixed in.

Growing a corona beard, never had beard or stache in my entire life. It's come in quite nicely of course, but I have 1-2 day stages of being itchy AF.
