It's ok, we've been keeping it under wraps for the most part until very recently. The only reason we haven't separated is finances. She knows that kicking me out would mean me moving back in with my parents, and she wouldn't wish that on her greatest enemy, let alone her husband. We still respect each other. We just hate living with each other.

Here's the thing, the logical part of our brain is not the portion that makes decisions. The emotional, reptile brain always makes the true decision before the logic side gets a chance to weigh pros and cons.

Don't necessarily agree with all parts of what you wrote. However, this part I disagree with. Not that it doesn't happen, but it can certainly be mitigated and attended to. That's what makes us human and not a lower ordered species. We have a triune brain for a reason, and that reason is to stop this short circuit through the amygdala from happening.

I don't think you understood what I was discussing. I am talking about control over our emotions, what we're attracted to, what we desire. Our "crushes" are not the product of cold logic. The reptile brain seperates the "datables" from the "non-dateables" within the first 10 seconds. The logic brain simply doesn't think that fast. If the two sides are at odds, the reptile brain always wins in the end. Feeling trumps thinking. We can't reason our way into falling for someone, but we can feel our way into falling for someone reason tells us we shouldn't.

This is the secret to how ugly-arse mofos land sexy-arse women. Money helps, but ultimately all the money does is make them feel special in multiple ways that the rest of us can't afford to do.

Ha....chicks that are with guys obviously below their level are doing that for insecurity and other issues. They want to bang a hot guy and as soon as a good looking guy acts funny or whatever the ugly guy does, she will bang that guy.

Some goes for hot chicks with super rich men. They are looking to bang the testosterone fueled hot guy.

You to go to work 65 hours a week. Provide for everyone but yourself. Pay for the yoga, groceries, kids sports, car notes. Pay a maid even though she stays home. And be all over her emotionally because you aren't worn down and tired from all of the above. That's about it.

No, it doesn't. Again, this is why we are humans and not lower ordered species.

You are making the classic mistake of all western thought: reductionism.

That's what you get for marrying a chick with only stay at home mom aspirations.

Ask a woman what they're looking for in a man.

Do the opposite.

A great sense of humor is key.
Clean and groomed. Respectful to people that matter to me. Be kind and thoughtful.

Also be handy around the house.

Any woman worth a damn wants to marry a traditional man; she takes pride in keeping him happy. It is a natural desire that has nothing to do with her ambition or profession.

You're a Goddamn idiot...lol Good luck in your future divorce.

Sneak peak gem....your going to lose EVERYTHING, house, cars, furniture, children and most of your income for the next 20 years! And it doesn't matter if you have her on video fricking 30 men....she's still the dainty mother of your children and will receive full child support from you....and maybe alimony if the gang banging whore wasn't working.

Most of you need to sit down and point out on the doll where the bad lady touched you, my god.

How to get a date with a woman: demonstrate value. Provide something that is missing from their life, then make a condition of providing it be a date with you. For some women, this is as easy as just asking, if they're single and desperate.

How to keep a relationship: just showing up is 90% of the work. How many women did you chase in your late teens and early 20s that were still with their high school or college boyfriend? Do you think Brad from homeroom is a 10/10 with 7 figures in the bank? Or has he just shown up every day. The 10% is what will take a relationship from functional or even precarious to satisfying and empowering. The 10% is being kind, generous, thoughtful, attractive.

The more you repeat step 1, the easier step 2 becomes.

Contrary to popular belief, men are the real romantics and women are the cynics. Women settle. Men convince themselves their wife is the most perfect woman in the world. A woman is with a dirtbag and tells herself she doesn't deserve someone better. A man gets cheated on and says "How could she ruin our beautiful family?"

And to echo several other replies in here, dating or marrying anyone with SAHM aspirations is a terrible decision. If she isn't smart, ambitious, and kind - why are you dating her?

They want someone who will listen to all the shite that’s in their head without telling them any of the shite that’s in their head, who has lots of money to pay for the shite they want, who makes cute kids that makes them look good and makes their friends pee green with envy, and they want Stability and so cheating and economic hard times are their worst nightmares.
