My personal belief is that attempting to change genders is a crime against Nature
When you say this, are you referring to men who surgically remove their penis and get breast implants, or are you referring to men who grow their hair long and wear dresses, or are you referring to both?

I feel like some of you are focusing on the “freedom” aspect of things in an effort to avoid legit debates about the logic underlying transgenderism.
Asking people “why do you care so much about what other people do or how they live their lives?” is a lazy cop-out. Millions of Americans believe the earth is 6,000 years old. It would be illogical and dumb to avoid debating these people on the grounds that “people should be allowed to say or think what they want.”
My beef with the trans movement (and it absolutely is a movement, unlike homosexuality which has existed throughout human history) is that it represents a war on objective truth, the English language, and long-standing sex-based segregation in key areas of society,
The good news is that I think the movement is on a permanent decline. They have lost popularity by trying to corrupt competitive sports and childhood innocence and by using the levers of state power to enforce compelled speech. Not to mention their mengele-like zeal to take scalpels to the flesh of our youth.

First you approach declaring yourself an Ally
Then you ask them their preferred pronouns so you know how to address them while talking about yourself.
Have a short conversation about organic living
Tell them about all the great things you’ve done to support their lifestyle
Finish up with how much their group needs you and your friends to champion for them

Are you ignorant or purposefully ignoring its prevalence in other countries? Or do you think your western perspective is predominant and overrides the rest of the world?

This is dumb. I’m not letting my non-existent daughter go in the restroom with them, either.
But 100% of coaches aren’t mentally ill.

LOL. Trans ideology is an entirely western export. So much so that white westerners graft themselves on to afterthought bits of other cultures and appropriate them to try and make it look less like an invention of the west (see the “two spirits” element of Canadian natives).
But feel free to go outside of the west and chat up neighbors about the ills of heteronormativity. Make sure to report back on all the common ground you find.

Don't know how woke I am but I generally think to myself "Damn that's an ugly woman". If it was a trans man I'd dismiss them as a lesbian.
I worked with an old boy who was, when younger, a big poon hound....had a reputation as being pussy crazy. When he turned 50 he became a she and was just about the ugliest woman you ever saw...almost Cleveland Tennessee ugly. Other than taking to wearing dresses away from work and that sort of thing he was exactly the same person he was in a pair of jeans and a polo. He/she/they, whatever the frick, disappeared about a year after they took to wearing dresses. I don't know if his family has ever heard anything about him.
I met a black trans woman from Atlanta in a cigar lounge in Denver about my age once while my son and I were smoking cigars and watching football. We had a great conversation reminiscing about Atlanta in the 70s and 80s. Them being trans never came up. Again, damned ugly woman but I suspect this individual was a homely man also...
My daughter's boyfriend has a brother who is trans, about 18 years old. They have been to our house several times. Very nice person, polite, yes ma'aming and no sirring, active in their church....salt of the earth other than the fact that he wears clothing one would expect to find a biological woman wearing. Very attractive but youth is often so.
I have a half sister who was in a relationship with a trans man for almost year and that motherfricker was a piece of work. Crooked as a Philadelphia lawyer, constantly in some minor scrape with the police...just an a-hole. And damned ugly. Recurring theme.
To sum up I have known or interacted with at least 4 trans people. 3 of the 4 seemed pretty normal outside of their choice of costume. The 1 was just a complete loser a-hole. About the same, in my experience, as people whose choice of costume is in line with societal expectations....75% normal, 25% assholes. Small sample size and clearly anecdotal but thats my experience. I have also found, again small sample size and anecdotally, they tend to be homely at best if not damned ugly...I know that's mean, hell I ain't winning no beauty contests myself, but noticeably unattractive all but the one who is about 18 and its hard for an 18 year old to have lived enough life to be ugly...

Any good parent is vigilant for predators everywhere, including shady friends and family members. Was this supposed to be a gotcha?
