Mine is a great mom to three out of my house knuckleheads. She cooks good rice and gravy and makes the best sammich ever. The works fulltime as a office manager / accountant. Knows what I like and when I need it. She lover to run trot lines and fish. At 47, age has been grateful to her. Still solid in the sack after many years. Yeah, I got a good one.

Most American women aren’t marriage material.

Pick wisely, or don’t pick at all.

I feel bad for you baws. 27, prime of my career, get to dip as many flavors of ice cream into my cone as I want.
The Ice Cream flavors available to Arky folks generally come with viral and/or bacteriological contaminants.

Hard Pass

And unless you’re a professional athlete or a manual laborer, being age 27 doesn’t put you at the prime of your career.

We should have traded Arkansas to the Big 12 for Okie State.

No, it’s that you are home all the time that’s pissing her off.

Mine (no pics) is civil as well.

However she’s in a different professional field.

I got up to make coffee this morning. I used the last of the half/half yesterday morning and I thought to myself "I've got to use milk instead". Nope, at some point during the day yesterday she went out and remembered to get half/half for me. She doesn't even drink coffee.

So... My wife makes what's important to me, important to her. That's what happens when you love someone day in day out for 28 years. Also, we never really fight, ever. It's pretty awesome.

My wife does a frick ton, tbh. More than me. Her job is less busy so she generally has more time to plan and coordinate things. She takes care of our finances, coordinates appointments for house repairs and house cleaning (I WFH so I meet with all of these people, pay them, inspect their work, etc), plans vacations, weekly meal plan, and we split daily chores pretty evenly. Only thing that I do exclusively is basically anything dealing with the outside of the house and/or in our yard.

She bitches as much as any wife, but I can't deny her of all of the work she puts in for our family.

Very true. Mine was in the USA for 15 years before we met but still holds onto the Asian values she was taught growing up and is very traditional. About the only thing we have conflict over is sometimes she's a little too driven when we should be slowing down and enjoying life.

I agree. My wife was raised on a farm in a small town. She has domestic skills like you wouldn’t believe. In addition to that, she knows how to work and how to take care of those around her. My wife is also a stay at home Mom because that’s important to us.

Your spouse should be a helpmate and help “pull the cart” in the same direction. If they aren’t willing to do that, you’ll have a power struggle and strife in your future.
