Android. I switched back to iPhone for a year and absolutely hated it. Never again.

Same here. With iOS you're boxed in and can only do what Apple wants you to do. I don't mean jailbreaking a phone and removing the security measures put in place, I mean simple shite on how I want to arrange the icons on my phone.

I regularly bash Apple and MacOS however last year I bought a Macbook Air to have a smaller, lighter laptop to carry around instead of my workstation class laptop issued to me. Again, the experience is best left for people too dumb to operate a remote control. I sold it and got a Surface Pro 6.

I've been in IT for over 20 years, I really don't see the appeal. "But but but what about photoshop and grahic arts?". Funny, Photoshop and Lightroom work quite nicely on my Windows PC and have no problem with touching up and editing photos.

Macs are overpriced computers meant for people who hate computers and feel they need their glowing or shiny fruit logos to justify their purchase. How's that saying go? A fool and their money...

My current favorite OT meme are the posters who are Super Dad “I fricking live to hunt and fish and bang OT 9.5s. But anyone who doesn’t spend every second with their children should not be allowed to breed”

That thread was ridiculous

“I would never get away from my wife and kids except for business trips. Anyone that does that clearly hates their family”

Yet same poster likely also posts on the outdoor board about multiple hunting trips and their hunting camps they own in Mississippi.

We have a situation here where dudes who wear PFG shirts to restaurants and bars are mocking Macbook owners for "trying to fit in"

I don't care what phone or computer you use. If it works for you, great. I just never saw the appeal and I can say I've actually gave their products a fair shot. The whole brand loyalty thing is ridiculous with a lot of products, almost cult like.

As far as the perception of quality of Apple products, I suggest looking up Louis Rossmann on Youtube. He's a computer repair technician in NYC who works on Apple products often. He's so good in fact people around the country ship to him. He has pointed out plenty of design flaws of various Apple products it should make you think twice about spending more for a product just because of the logo slapped on it.

Ah, the mantra of people too dumb to actually learn how to use a tool.

This excuse may have worked 20 years ago but with the consumerization of IT, it's not longer the case.

I bet you still have the default ringtone and notification sounds because even changing that would be too difficult for you.
