I’m a cleaner. Ole Quentin modeled this character after me.

For real though I’m a Catastrophe insurance adjuster. Favorite person of all OTers. I travel the country, driving, and spend sometimes weeks, sometimes months at a storm site. Then I drive home and I might be there for weeks or even months. Been awhile since I was home that long though. Beautiful thing is I still make my base pay even when home for weeks at a time doing whatever tf I want. And when working I get to drive roads I’ve never driven and go places I’ve never been. Not a bad gig at all.

I sit at my computer and just stare at the screen all day, so it looks like I'm working. But in any given week, I would estimate that I only do about 15 mins of real, actual and honest work.

Obviously you dont have to say where, but generally, what kind of shop are you at? I'm in a similar industry and position. We are technically a tax firm (no audit), but I do almost exclusively consulting type work. Were around 2,500 US and 15k worldwide right now.

I own a company that sells specialty packaging items to consumer goods manufacturers. That’s a fancy way of saying that I’m a salesperson.

I am a Forensic Social Worker that gets to hang out with criminal types all day. I do this to get away from my 6 kids at home (i kid i kid). My job is just for fun money and insurance. Wife (no pics) is the bread winner.

I pick up cigarette butts off the street, squeeze the tobacco out of them and then re-roll the tobacco into cigarttes. I then sale them as singles to high school kids. Business is booming!

Before people get triggered I never sale to anyone under 14.

My firm doesn't do any tax or audit work, we're strictly consulting. I was with one of the Big 4 prior to my current organization and left because consulting was the stepchild to Audit/Tax (They're splitting up now )

We're around 18,000 employees, mostly in the US with a few offices around the world and major service centers in India and Europe. Work is split between Public (Gov't) and Private (Corporations) organizations. I'm on the private side.

If you're looking to make a move I'd be happy to connect and figure out more what you're doing/looking to do.
