What's it matter to you how other men live their lives and spend their money?

Some people who have money enjoy spending it on making their wives happy

I got a blowjob after every party while eating leftover cake

So there isn't any development going on at this time (two years old) in which extremely positive family experiences will have a lasting effect? OK.

I'm not saying you have to blue a was, though. Just doing something within in your means and make sure your kids having a happy time.

meh...$1k isn't anything to freak out over or judge the people about IMO

$10k? yeah that reaches the ridiculous point

but $1k isn't crazy if you include gifts

What's it matter to you how I view people who waste their money on their kids trying to make themselves feel better about their own shortcomings in life?

Hmm. So you spend money on something she likes, you get a beej? Where have I heard that arrangement before? LOL.

Just irritates the pragmatic side of me. It's a slippery slope that ends up with dumb@sses doing sh!t like "My Super Sweet 16," on MTV.

More power to you brah. Hopefully you'll be able to continue to drop moolah like that in order to facilitate intimacy with the missus. Be careful to watch your blood sugar with all that cake though, mayne.

Had his party at our house, all of our friends kids are older. I rented a water slide $170, food and drinks $100 ish, his godmother owns a party planning/ cake making business, she did the cake for free. I would say around $500, spend more than that one the 1st birthday though.

I judge all you motherfrickers who throw around $1k or more for any of your kids' parties. You gluttonous fricks.

Is the only way an extremely positive family experience will have a lasting effect on a 2 year old at this time in their development to go overboard and overspend for a meaningless party they'll remember exactly jack squat about?

Is cake and ice-cream at your house or maw-maw and paw-paw's house insufficient to create this "extremely positive family experience which will have a lasting impact,"?

OK.

It's only costing you a cheesy gift and some gas (maybe some ice and beer and/or booze to fill the flask if you're smart). Of course you're

It's the sap whose dropping cash to rent a facility for a freaking one year old's birthday party that's the do-do here.

This is how I know you are a poser.

If you did have it, you'd say you had the sugar...or sugar diabetes.

True (cool) story (bro):

The fam was in ernge beach last week and we ran into a shite-ton of Tiger Fans at Phoenix West II where we stayed. Floated across one from Vicksburg in the Lazy River who had a pump on with his LSU Hat and P&G Polo T-Shirt in the pool, pounding BL's. We tossed him a few when we were reloading and he'd do the same when we floated by their area and chopped it up several times.

Dude started talking about his pump and had me rolling, "It's such a drag, man. The two things I can't do are eat and drank. But the wife let's me say f*ck it while I'm down here on the whole dranking thang, y'know man?"

Guy's my hero...

Spend what you feel comfortable with,
Fck all the people saying the kid will not remember. LOL
If you aren't trash, you are likely to want to spend time with family. Invite the fam and friends and have a good time.
I know a few guys who didn't even care to attend their young kids parties. They were too cool for school. Those werkend hunting and fishing trips that cost $400 were ok, but don't let the wife go spend $100 on the kids party.
Redneck life. LOL
