I keep a writing tablet and pen and pencil within reach of the toilet. I think about things and write notes (in between farts) on what I want to accomplish in the near future.

Some nicer hotels used to have a phone installed on the wall next to the toilet. At work, it’s common for people to be on conference calls while sitting in a stall. Culture.

Ever since I was a teenager I always kept a copy of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and the latest issue of SI on the back of the toilet. No magazines now, but the book remains.
