If those kids can't handle what some professor says in a classroom, wait til they stand up in front of a judge who got up on the wrong side of the bed.

The fact that students have to fear being penalized by their professors goes right over your head.

Somehow conservative students have been making law review and landing too jobs for the last 50+ years despite this alleged witch hunt .

Levy has always been pretty outspoken on his beliefs in class.

I’m assuming this is more of petty Jeff being small and petty.

No one is worried about their 1L crim class. Levy has nothing to do with law review or anything else prestigious at the school.

He was just recruiting. He’s married or dated like three of his students, right?

Grading is done anonymously

So they don’t actually read arguments and grade based on those including ones they believe could only come from someone with a phobia or one of the ists?

You don’t have to know who someone is to be completely biased on views or argument expressed. Some students can make themselves more obvious than others. Getting into more of the current political debate would be harder for some classes than others, but today everything can be made political. I felt free to discuss different views outside of class with professors. I was told several times it’s not the answer as much as how you prove or defend it, but even back then I knew which would be graded easier.

Today it seems like professors are less tolerant of political differences. Many don’t seem very open to discussing any opposing views. A professor openly displaying TDS towards students is very likely to treat a student they find out is a Trump supporter differently, and that different treatment can affect their learning and their grades even if grading is 100% proven to be anonymous including using 3rd party audits.

Likewise. I even memorized one of the obscure quotes he used and shoehorned it into one of my answers. It worked .

Professors across the country had felt more free to push their views even further onto students and be less tolerant of their views since the summer of love and Dems winning the Presidency and for 2 years controlling congress (and social media). I don’t know how active Edwards was in dealing stuff like this. Outside of maybe abortion he always seemed to be a party first guy and would fall in line when told (in actual actions not when campaigning as a moderate).

Why would the governor have any involvement whatsoever?

Pretty much without exception, law school exams can be navigated without espousing any political view whatsoever. Only a huge retard would inject any political opinion into an exam like that.

It’s a law school. There have always been right wing and left wing professors. If farking law students can’t handle it, they shouldn’t be in law school.

Whoever is out there reporting shite to Landry should be embarrassed. That’s chicken shite.

I feel like I don't even know who the profs are at the law center anymore. Trahan and Smokin Joe Bockrath may be the only ones left from my time. Hard to imagine that place without Maraist, Cheney Joe, Litvinoff, L'Enfant et al.

And don’t forget John Baker. For decades librul students had the pleasure of John Baker as a prof to slap them around from the Heritage Foundation perspective. And no one ever dropped a dime on Baker or Devlin or anyone else.
