I would do the hard sciences. After u can do whatever one wants and it’s a solid skill/specialty. People, rightly or wrongly, assume you are no joke with a physics degree and can code.

Photography isn't a bad option. Good photographers charge a ton.

As an Architect, professions in that area (Architecture, Arch Engineering, Interior Design) are all decent professions. The problem is that they don't pay like Law or Medicine - and you really need to have the heart for it to do it.

Someone who isn't vested into anything is a really bad candidate for the profession.

Really? I had a friend graduate LSU in photography and he never got shite for jobs. Went to dental school in Trinidad. He’d give that up for photography though.

Some sort of computer science program, engineering, or accounting. Nursing would also be a viable choice as well. All of those are directly transferred into the job market and will help considerably.

Healthcare, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Undertaker.

Something that's never going to go away and dying falls into that category.

Honestly, you may want to figure out a way to get an idea of your child's aptitudes. He/she may not have interests, but there are certainly some things that the child would be better at than other things (i.e. better in math or art, etc.). Once you figure that out, you can steer him/her down a path that would be the best fit, while still allowing the child to ultimately pick a specific career within that range of skillsets.

There's astronomical demand for Python, Java, and Javascript programmers right now and for the foreseeable future. Not enough trained Asians to cover half of it.

You're replying to the forum's biggest idiot. He makes OweO look positively normal in comparison.
