I know a couple baws from there with work and I feel like you could live down there and not have a single care about anything going on in the rest of the world. Must be nice

Italy
Iceland
Poland
Austria
Hungary
Croatia
Montenegro

Croatia is massively underrated. Beautiful place.

So happy you’re inspired. If you start a Go Fund Me, I will happily contribute to your travel expenses.

One hitch. You must stay away for at least 10 years.

When I was in the Navy, we stopped in Dubrovnik soon after the war ended and the city had almost got back to normal. The place was essentially empty except for the locals and us squids. Amazing port visit. Game of Thrones and cruise ships make it a much more crowded place but it's still a very cool spot. I've been back to Dubrovnik and also visited Split with the wife on a Royal Caribbean cruise. The cliff-side Buza Bar in Dubrovnik is a cool spot for a drink or two.

Here’s a fun fact: if you have dual Irish citizenship, you can live and work anywhere across not only the EU (Brexit), but also the UK under the permanent Common Travel Area agreement.

Some of you baws should try harder.
