By the time all is said and done, it will be closer to 5 trillion fed dollars, not to mention the economic impact with the stock market.
For 5 trillion, we could have fixed the shitty infrastructure in this country. Internet, public transportation, highways, etc.

Imagine putting all that money into a true fiber optic nationwide network. It would be game-changing for sure. Instead, we pay out money for folks to sit at home on unemployment for months on end, and our nation’s internet service continues to lag behind every other first world country.
