3 but 7 was my longest running one, I held on to that PS1 for as long as I could, but then they stopped making games for it

#1. Combat was the jam in our house. Short quick games to establish gaming dominance among four brothers. Winner kept playing and the new player picked the game mode.

#1 was probably the first I ever played on, but #2 was the first that was truly mine. I’ve probably had them all in my hand for a game except for the Wii U and a couple of the later iterations if Xbox and maybe the PS4.

I'll chime in with the Pong crowd.
But I had an Atari 2600, Intellivision, Commodore 64, PC, then Nintendo 64, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, XB1, PS4, Switch and now Series X.
The 360 was the absolute glory days. COD4. Halo 3. Left 4 dead. Battlefield 3. Bioshock. Mass Effect. 1 vs 100. So much innovation. So many new IPs.
Everything since seems like a retread.
Microsoft pioneered then perfected console multiplayer with the 360...it hasn't been the same since.
