No, this is the actual dress
The real dress is ivory and black, but the black shows up as gold in the OP due to the shitty lighting - almost like when you print a picture with lot of black ink from a printer.

If you see white open your laptop up all the way and tilt it back. The dress will turn blue and black.

look down on the picture and it appears black & blue

Thank you Ping Pong. I think it's also important to add white to the grey/light bluish arrow because us smart people know that the dress is in the shade and it only has the grey/light bluish tint because of that. Also, I'm not entirely certain that the dress on the left isn't a knockoff of the one on the right. There are a lot of chinese websites that will post pics of the expensive designer dress and offer to make you the "same" dress in other colors. I have fallen for it and what I got was similar to the left dress quality if not worse.
