Everything is subjective with regards to quality of life. That's why it's a constant topic on this board.

What about 5 minutes from a botanical garden, amusement park, art museum, and streetcar ride? That was just one morning before naptime.

To each his own...
I could not fathom having to drive an hour to the grocery store or several hours from top medical care. There is a trade off for everything.

Does it bother anyone else that DC metro is outgrowing most in both population and wealth despite not having a major Fortune 500 HQ presence?
Our tax dollars are building a nicer, better city with higher paid workers than the towns we live in.

And that's why we currently live 15 minutes from her office and under ten from mine.
The minute she can get a remote job we're gone. I had planned to move back to my hometown of Huntsville, but rethinking that one now.

yeah it seems like we keep getting more major projects. with ares like EBR being anti-industry, we should be pretty solid for more expansions and what not
