Sorry to hear that you feel children are such a burden. Some of us love our kids. Making a baby to save a relationship is a beautiful thing. And raising them isn't THAT hard.

Maybe the reason it isn't working is BECAUSE there's no children involved. Kids have a way of putting things in perspective like maybe you don't really hate the person as much as you thought. I'm not saying it'll definitely make things better but it's worth a shot.
