If I ram him with my car before he gets the chance to approach my window and then proceed to whip his arse until I feel he is no longer a threat, then how much time am I looking at?

For whatever reason you don't have your gun with you on this particular car ride.
If you came to new Orleans unarmed?..you deserve whatever happens to you.
If in a smaller town?..fight the baw, he may buy you a beer if you whip his arse.

Shoot him or run him over. “I feared for my life” works.

Reach into your purse and find your hairspray to defend yourself

That's why we have concealed carry....
To the OP, I keep a Glock in my vehicle so he would have a problem.

Make sure the doors are locked, the window is up, and just ignore them until I can drive away. Little good can come from confronting these idiots.
I've had it happen a couple of times, and did that both times.

Don’t get caught in the situation. Nothing pisses me off more when the initiator flips someone off then acts like a little bitch when he gets confronted. If you’re not ready to throw hands, don’t test me!
I have a feeling OweO would just dirt stomp you.

You get out and kick his arse.

Smiles
Window just a little cracked open.
I thought you couldn't see me in your blind spot so I honked once.
So glad I didn't hit your right quarter panel.
nice ride. Have a look, I think we are cool.
Smiles again.
Window up.

He’s not breaking the window with his hand. I do nothing except get his plate and call cops

The only time I was in a road rage scene I called 911.
He pulled up. Rolled down window. I held up my phone, said, just called 911, they said they will be here soon. He squealed tires as he turned off the main road.

Just stay in your car and drive away?
Maybe I'm a prick. I had a guy honk at me for "cutting him off" on GA 400 about a year ago. Really, on GA 400 during rush hour, if you left enough space for someone to get over in front of and you didn't have to slam on your brakes, he didn't "cut you off." This dude disagreed and gave me a long, angry horn blast.
So I stopped dead for about 3 seconds and the guy just lost it. He was in an older Mercedes convertible with the top down, wearing a tank top, and I could see the veins bursting out of his neck with 'roid rage as he gesticulated wildly for me to pull over and fight him on the side of GA 400. LMAO.
I just continued forward and got off at my Dunwoody exit, while he continued heading north to whatever distant suburb dudes with old Mercedes and shrunken testicles have to live in. That's revenge enough.

So never honk?
When I lived in NO, I certainly didn't honk to "punish" other drivers for their mistakes like many people often do. Not worth it.
Use it to avoid an accident then sure.

This is why you always carry a concealed weapon.
