Prior intimate relationships can complicate things. It’s true. But if they are in a good place now and have been for a while without any red flags, then I would still consider them marriage material.

I'm sorry but, this completely ignores the popularity of the so-called Ho Phase among women under 30. I think there was a time when women in general wanted to be more selective and not give it out for free, but it's pretty goddam obvious that something in the culture has radically changed in the last 25 years. Young women especially have embraced the notion of being sexually voracious "because you only live once".
