What bank do you use and do you like them?

I've run into a string of infuriating events with Capital One. Most recently they canceled my credit card on the same day as they shipped a new credit card with a chip a day prior to leaving for vacation. All of this without any notification prior.
They were unable to reactivate the card until I receive the new one and apparently deem it as acceptable to on a whim cancel access to your funds.
So with that said I am looking to switch banks. I'm wondering what everyone around here uses and your experiences with them.

They reissued us new cards last week but didn't cancel the old ones. The email heads up said something about how one of our cards were used at a place with a possible data breach and to be on the lookout for fraud activity. Both still worked until I activated the new ones.

Hated them. I'm with Iberia Bank and have found them to be very good. I also use Jefferson Financial Credit Union for financing things and have been happy with them as well.

wells fargo.
I have no complaints, but I don't really do a lot of fancy banking either. Rarely use a debit card, pay my credit card off each month, no mortgage. Any time I've ever had an issue with a charge they've hanlded it promptly.
The only thing I'd like is for a higher yielding savings account but I mean you're not going to find many places with high rates there.

Go with a credit union. I use Baton Rouge telco federal credit union. No problems here.

I use a local bank(Bank of N Ga.) and credit union(Georgia Federal). Got rid of all charge cards in '11.

I use Ally Bank for Checking, Savings, and laddering CDs. Their app is unreal and their customer service is top notch.
Interest checking and no ATM fees as well.
They just released a credit card that seems pretty solid as well. 1% cash back on everything, 2% of gas and groceries, and additional 10% when redeemed for cash in an Ally bank account.
But I don't have it yet, still love my other credit cards (Amex, Southwest Visa, Chase Sapphire, etc.)

Chase is pretty good, no issues

I use chase because of their online/mobile app services. They're on top of their game in the tech department.
ETA: This is for checking

I've been using Capital One since back when they were still Hibernia and have no complaints for the most part

In the past I've gotten reeeeeal close to making the plunge to a branchless bank like Ally, and honestly they seem pretty legit. I think there's just somethign in my brain that won't let me join somehwere that doesn't have a physical branch.
How tough was it to make the switch? Like I said I have zero issues with WF and am happy with them, but would be open to looking around. Better interest rates on checking and savings would be cool.

Switched to chase a decade ago and haven't looked back.

I am looking to opening a Wells Fargo account so that I can get one of their credit cards.
As I stated above, I paid off and closed my credit card accounts several years ago but am getting to the point to where one would be handy to buy equipment for side jobs. Also, my coworker pays his cell bill with his Wells Fargo card and they pick up the tab for his phone insurance. For myself, the Wife and kids that comes out to a little more than fifty dollars a month in savings.

Looking at them now myself:
Interest Checking
ANNUAL PERCENTAGE YIELD
0.10
0.60
Fees may reduce earnings
Online Savings
ANNUAL PERCENTAGE YIELD
1.00
Six transactions limit per statement cycle. Why only 6?
No monthly maintenance fees
Fees may reduce earnings

If you aren't putting your incoming funds in a local bank in this day and age you are missing out on thousands over the next at least 5 years.

I bank at a local bank and love it.

Am also having problems with capital one. They started charging us maintenance fees for some of my accounts ($8.95/month/account), and when I brought the subject up to our banker he basically told us sorry, nothing he can do. I just think it's absolute bullshite that they can make money off of my liquid assets and then have me pay a fee for them to do so.
There are plenty of banks that don't do this, so after a long stay with cap1, their time might be done for us. It's especially sad because I have been a customer since Hibernia shut down their operation years ago.

I only have 1 CC and it's through WF. Every dollar spent is a point and you can redeem them through WF rewards. I've only used it once so far btu I got a brand new ipod for "free" with my points. I'm trying to save up a bunch now to get something big, idk what yet though.

Very, very easy. App is fantastic.
Customer service is nearly Amex level too.
Doesn't WF allow you to open a brokerage account with a certain amount of free trades per month? That's something I really wish Ally had.
