disposable flybags hanging... sorta trashy!

No flies on the porch or in the house, though!
I've got a big property, so I can hang them away from sight most of the time.

The green top looks that same as the wasp trap I have and it doesn't work at all.

Best invention of all time. My wifes hair could clog a hole in the Hoover dam.

Try the Red Top and thank me late. It is the original. Hell, the Army hangs them on their tanks.

Only time I really get flies is when I'm on the smoker on the back patio.

How close should I put it to the door, or will they work pretty much anywhere in the area?

Rain-X windshield wiper fluid (I think the bug & fog is the common type).

You get rain-x applied and you get wiper fluid. Love it.

Great for killing carpenter bees! I’ve killed more with the racket than a trap.

They have directions, but you would be able to put it far enough away that it won't be a problem. Once it starts working (a day or 2) it will attract most all the flies away from your living area. Put it in a location where you are upwind from it from your normal windflow.

Those foldable chairs from Academy. They are only $5.99 and you can just throw them in your car for kids soccer games, extra seating outdoors, etc.

I'm not afraid to admit I sit in one of these in my garage with a beer just about every evening. Paid for itself 100x by now. Simple and effective.

Even better, and for the money you can get ten for the price of one tennis racket.

DO NOT put it where you hang out. It'll just bring more flies in. The purpose is to lure the flies that are bothering you away whilst on your back porch away.

I've got mine hanging on the back fenceline. So I've about 80 feet and a garage between me and it while we're on our back porch.
