Curious as to the reasoning for the rider policies..work vehicle, have a child driving and don’t want to get sued??

That’s great if you have next to nothing for net worth. If you have even a moderate level of assets the cost of insurance to protect them is negligible.

Auto insurance is expensive as frick. You expect me to believe these poor arse whites of the OT paying 100k+ insurance when most can barely pay liability.

In Louisiana you’d be a complete idiot not to have 100k+ in UM.

I worked in insurance for 2 years and after seeing what I saw, I will always have uninsured coverage. That and 100/300/100 minimum. The state limits for liability vary by state but every state minimum is WAY too low.

You don’t cause accidents? it’s called an accident for a reason. You probably think you’re invincible too don’t you? You must be really young because you damn sure are naive. If you did get in an accident and caused 50k in damages, what are you going to do? All so you could save a few bucks a month? You aren’t very bright.

500/500/1M with State Farm.

1M Umbrella with uninsured.

I’m honestly considering dropping the Umbrella. It’s $95/mo

Every accident is preventable

It may come as a shock to some of you, but some people take driving more seriously than others

I’ve been driving for about ten years, and have yet to cause an accident

Why? Because I pay the frick attention

I’m not paying more than double the price per month for something I don’t need

Some of you aren’t very bright, but considering about half the people on the road have no business possessing a license, I’m not that surprised

Uninsured Motorist

Strange coverage mandate in a state that requires every motorist to have insurance. Shouldn’t be a need. But, yes, I have it as well. Easier to milk money out of people that are gainfully employed, I guess.
