Yea I have seen the whole series thus far. Book 1 was great and not a difficult read having seen the show. I liked reading about the events leading up to the end of the Targaryen era and all the background he give that the show ignores. Looking forward to book 2, I hear that's where things really start to differ from the show.

Just starting The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith. It's the second in the Cormoran Strike series. I really liked the first one Cuckoo's Calling, so I have high hopes.

Just finished The Kraaken Project by Douglas Preston quite amusing. Started Lincoln Myth by Steve Berry. Prior to Kraaken I started Kill Switch by James Rollins but lost interest. Prior to that read Sycamore Row by Grisham which I would not recommend, he has become useless racial relations pontificater.

"The Wit and Wisdom of Harry Reid" - really quick read, you open it up and all the pages are blank.

I keep trying Rollins bc my husband buys his books but I don't like any of them. I can't figure out what the draw is. The guy has tons of books.

Sir Drinksalot, Rollins is good. But he has recently collaborated w some other writers who ain't so hot. The Rebecca Cantrell collaborations are dumb vampire stories (Rasputin appears and guess what He's a vampire - just dumb) Try Bloodline. Quite good. Judas Strain and Map of Bones I liked also. All the Doug Preston books without Lincoln Child are quite good; Blasphemy, Impact and Tyrannosaur Canyon I loved.

I do love biblical fiction. So I suffered through those vampire books.
The judas chronicles..were those the ones about securing his silver? Each piece of silver is one book with it's own story? Those weren't that bad I guess.
I don't like those sigma force ones either. I'll keep trying :-)

I agree ab Lincoln child. Loved those.

The only Rollins books I like are the Sigma Force ones. The others I don't care for at all.

I do like the Steve Berry books, though. I find those quite entertaining.

I get audiobooks from the library when we go on trips with the kids. I love me some nancy drew/hardy boys but after two attempts at boxcar children we gave up. They are horrible
