What are you doing to fight high gas prices, high food prices, interest rates?

Are you carpooling more?
Put building a house on hold?
The other day I went to Subway I was tired of paying $20-30 to eat at restaurants. Ordered a foot long with 2 cookies it was $15 and change. I said holy crap looked at the board and it was like $12.25 for a foot long not long ago it was like $8.50-9.00 for a foot long. Wtf???

Can still buy a 10lb bag of leg quarters for around $5 or $6. Probably the best meat deal you can get.
Season and bake/grill. Debone any leftovers and use in quesadillas, jambalaya, gumbo, chicken salad.
I do find myself paying attention to food deals and meal planning quite a bit more these days.
