Boiling a bushel of select crabs for her and her mom.
Lucky me . They would rather have this than flowers or going eat out somewhere.
And I made a cheesecake yesterday for today. That's my wife's favorite dessert.
I wish all the mothers could have a Happy Mothers Day!

More important role in your life, the mother of your children or your mother?

Bought my GF a new iPad and will pamper her all day. She's not a mother yet technically but she does a great job raising our little hairball

Well, I'm scrubbing baseboards and deep cleaning the laundry room and kitchen.

My oldest graduates from high school in 11 days and I'm going to have about 60-75 people in my house from that Thursday-Saturday.

I told my husband these kind of chores don't wait for Mother's Day. So my Mother's Day is deferred until two Saturdays from now when it's all over.

I've been working my arse off every day after work and all weekend for two weeks getting ready for this horseshite.

I told my husband once all the graduation stuff is over, I'm plopping my arse by the pool with my iPad and I'm catching up on all my TV shows and I'm not moving until the sun goes down.

OT answer - "Did a yearly review and gave her a 3-5 % bonus? "
Real Life - Made her breakfast in bed. Took kids out and left the house to her self. Bought her favorite lunch home and will BBQ in the evening

Of course not.

Oh that's right. This is the OT where you have to be a dick and not do nice things for people or you're a wuss.

Gave her flowers and candy this morning, have bracelet to give her later. We made our rounds this morning, my mom, lunch with her mom, then when we got home the younger stepdaughter surprised us with fresh baked bread pudding with whiskey sauce. Unfortunately she ooened a bottle of Blanton's for the sauce. It was a really aweet gesture and it was delicious but that's an expensive pan of bread pudding.

Why do husbands have to buy wife's presents? I do not understand this phenomenon.

They don't. My wife specifically told me not to get her anything but instead she was going to buy a pair of shoes and call it a present.

I did pick up some flowers and nice frruit medley and going to cook steaks and will knock out some wine with her later but that's pretty much a typical Sunday afternoon for us.

Thankful she's not high maintenance and isn't a materialistic gal.
