I’ve heard Dallas is bad, but I’ve never personally experienced it. I feel like people from Nashville are the most aggressive and think their city is on the same league as Atlanta and Los Angeles influence wise.
IB4 some poster gets triggered because I typed Los Angeles

Hometown pizza in Iuka does not let people in that are wearing collared shirts. Depending on the day they may not let you in if you are wearing any shirt. That pizza is slaps for the price tho

New Orleans - Uptown, Garden District, Carrollton areas
Charleston - especially the Harleston Village and South of Broad areas
Nashville - Belle Meade
Birmingham - Mountain Brook and Homewood (far drop off from the other three)
Atlanta - Tuxedo Park
Chattanooga - Lookout Mountain
Savannah - South Harbor, East and West Victorian District
This. Plus parts of east Memphis, Germantown, and Collierville.
Although none of them compare to Dallas or Atlanta.

Fairhope, AL sure has a stick up its arse for no good reason.

Surprised no one has said Kiawah Island yet, because the answer is definitely Kiawah especially areas on the ocean side off Flyway.

The only pretentious people in east Memphis suburbs are insecure Vol fans

That’s just predominately a place for New Yorkers and Chicagoans with beach homes.

If you're referring to northern VA I can promise you that it is the absolute furthest thing from the south. It's even worse than the People's Republic of Maryland as crazy as that sounds.
Northern VA, 1000% pretentious, 0% in the south

I haven't paid much attention to what the board thinks for you. Does the majority of the board think you suck?

I don’t view pretentious as being rich and snobby. It’s more of a “our way of life is more enlightened and better than yours” type attitude with nothing real to back it up.
With that definition, I’d say Fayetteville, but really most of Arkansas thinks of Fayetteville the city as that frick up nephew who the family still inexplicably likes and tolerates despite knowing he’s a frick up.
And it’s still not as bad as Austin.

While they are more outsiders than in the past Kiawah is still the Hamptons of the South. Not sure how non-Southerners make it less pretentious. Kiawah has intentionally kept the number of hotels low to keep out the riff-raff.
