That was the preferred shoe for most of the guys in my Catholic school, circa 1987.
I wore those for years, and Bean would replace for any or no reason.

I had never seen this particular shoe but I have worn the Bean Buck boots since the mid 80’s. Just got a new pair for this Xmas. Might be my second most comfortable.
