Deep Tracks Ch. 27

For us geezers old enough to remember actual FM radio, with full length versions of songs and "album cuts."

I still cannot fathom why anyone would pay for XM radio in this day with the amount of free streaming options, digital radio, podcasts, etc.

Poor cell/wi-fi signal in some areas might be one reason- along with terrible choices in terrestrial stations in MANY areas.

Listening to The Highway

There’s your first mistake. I love country music and this station is an abortion. Prime Country is my go to.

31 - Tom Petty Radio is always solid
25 and 26 are ok for Rock and I've enjoyed Dave Matthews radio on 30 for the past few weeks.

The best artist channel that they had was Lynard Skynard radio. It lasted about two months and was surprisingly listenable.

90 Nascar Radio and 84 when Mark Packer isn't on with Dabo's knob in his mouth.

The rest of the presets in the truck

Kid's place live (78)
90's on 9
Classic Rewind (25)
Willie's roadhouse (59)
Lithium (34)
Yacht Rock (70)
Rock the Bells (43)
Joel Osteen Radio (128)

Before it was streaming only Road Trip radio was our family's favorite.

Unless I'm listening to sports or comedy, pretty much Turbo, Octane, Lithium, or any of the rock channels.

I also have been listening to lot of The Joint and Bluegrass Junction lately. The reggae and bluegrass music they play on there has been on the money.

Also love the Billy Joel channel when it's on. No Shoes Radio is cool too.

None of them really have enough variety, with billions of songs available they still have a regular rotation of the same stuff.

Really one of the only issues I have with Sirius XM.

They put on terrific music, however, with billions of other songs that apply to whatever channel they have, you would think they would put on more than their regulars.
