At least with the breeder we are using, they offer a medium which is supposed to be between 40-60 lbs.

My parents have had 2 mini goldendoodles for the past 10 years. I adopted one last summer too. Great dogs.

Here's a picture of Bidge, one of my parents dogs that I'm sure you'll love

My family and I tried taking in a rescue dog, and it's working out well. No puppy BS with chewing up things and potty training. I'd highly recommend trying it. You have a trial period to see how you like the dog and to see if it has any issues you can't deal with or just didn't expect. If you aren't familiar with large breeds, or just aren't sure what you want, try it out.

The best and most loyal dog I ever owned was a Rottweiler. She was sweet as could be to me and slept in the same bed every night. I don't know if I could deal with the shedding now. Was in college at the time.

Fast forward a couple years, my grandpa died and I gave her to my grandmother to keep her company. My grandmother spoiled and loved that dog. She cooked meals for 2 people just like she always did and fed the other meal to Luci.

We have a Lab/German Shepherd mix. Really easy to housebreak, and great with our toddler.

Not mine, but he looks similar. 70ish pounds.

Our mixed lab is very smart and well-behaved. Except for today. She decided that our insulated water faucet covers (left on since the freeze a couple weeks ago) needed to be destroyed. My yard is full of tiny bits of styrofoam.

eCollar

About $180

I now use a dummy collar and carry remote. She thinks it is real.

Do you have a large enough yard and land for herding breeds?

We got ours from a place in Weatherford. She's been amazing. Extremely smart plus the whole hypo-allergenic thing makes things easy too

Every one I've seen is a great looking dog.

The gf and I are excited.

I wanted a lab, but she got final say
