Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. We have one and it is the best dog on the planet.
The only thing is they do not do well in heat.

They're like monochromatic pointers. Good dogs.

I can't believe no one has said a beagle. I love my buddy, he was bad as shite growing up but he is the most chilled out dog now. He will bark a good bit but I like it, as he alerts you quickly if something isn't right.
I love Beagles. My dad and uncle kept 8 of them when I was a kid that we rabbit hunted with, they were great dogs.
We also had some Labs and Australian Shepherds as pets. My wife and I have two Puggles (Pug + Beagle) now, they aren't sporty but I love them

What do dogs that aren't loyal do...cheat? stay away from you? run away?

Had one and love them. That said, depending on your household and lifestyle, they aren't the best for everyone.

Got a buddy who has a Brittany. Very smart dog but good god is that thing wound up. Most have separation anxiety and can be skidish if they arent socialized properly. No thanks

Ehhh. Rhodesian's aren't the greatest. They're cool but not something I would want around people too often because they're aggressive, and especially around other dogs. I've had one before amd my uncle has one, he kept it inside with 2 other dogs in a huge house. It ended up killing one of his other dogs and was just really aggressive. I mean that's a small sample size I guess.
I'm all about some boxer dogs though, for the most part I hear nothing but good things even though they may be a bit on the hyper side.

They are known for being both animal and people aggressive.

Those that I have been around in person seem to be loopy and erratic. I don't personally care for them but some love them.

Yeah Henry has a big ole head. He's shorter and wider than an american lab. He weighs about 93lbs.

Best dog I've ever had was a lab mix. They said it was chow and lab but I dunno. It was a furry lab. Best dog and smartest dog I've ever owned. He was free.
