What are some weird things you do in the gym?

I don't tie my shoes, and I kick them off and do almost all my sets on leg day (squat, leg press, DL, calves, etc) in my socks. Even standing shoulder press and things like that, I kick off my shoes.....it just makes me feel more connected with the ground.
I also do tricep push downs on the weighted dip assist machine. I know it makes me look like a little bitch, but that angle kills my triceps.
And I'm the only person I have ever seen in my gym who does SLDL with DBs. Again, I look straight bitch doing it I'm sure, but that exercise destroys my hamstrings like no other.
I'm sure some of you crossfit bros do some weird stuff inside Planet Fitness.

If you are doing this at a commercial gym during peak hours, then that's pretty obnoxious. Nobody wants your foot sweat on the leg press or all across the floor. Plus, I hope your feet don't smell particularly bad.
If you want to obtain more solid contact with the ground, then get some sturdier, flat-sole shoes (e.g. wrestling shoes, Chuck Taylors, Nike Frees, or legitimate weightlifting shoes).

I know this is a joke, but in truth any sort of sexual release spaced out an adequate amount of time before vigorous physical activity will actually enhance testosterone production in the testes.

I have no idea how anyone works out in Chuck's, they're so fricking uncomfortable. I have heard great things about the Nike Free Trainers however, might have to pick me up a pair.

I've never understood the appeal either, but most guys swear by them because of how sturdy they feel.
I've actually worn a pair of Nike Free Trainers for about four years now and after hundreds of visits to the gym they are still intact. It's actually one of the only Nike shoes aside from their basketball shoe or cleat lineup that seems to be worth a damn.
However, they're usually not cheap. See if you can get an older model on sale for 50-70$ rather than shell out $110+ for the newest edition.
