apples are my go-to snack as well because they don't need to be refrigerated and don't require any preparation. and since i always have oatmeal around the office i'll sometimes grab a little of that if i'm starving. other suggestions:

-natural peanut butter. but be careful with portions as it has a lot of calories (but is pretty filling).
-bananas
-celery or baby carrots (wash and cut the celery at home and leave in fridge at work)
-beef jerky (too expensive to eat everyday but it's a nice change up)
-cherry tomatoes
-other fruits (pears, mandarins [cuties], grapes, etc)

I boil about a dozen eggs each Sunday and then have them for the week when I need a snack.

Also love apples and watermelons.

My personal favorite: take a potato, cut it up into thin circular slices (chips). Sprinkle sea salt, pepper, and onion powder. Drizzle EVOO or olive oil. Bake at 350 to 375 for about 25 minutes. Yum

I made home made "cheese fries" like that recently. Way healthier than Sammy's, cheaper, and just as good(IMO).

Someone recommended cottage cheese I'd recommend throwing some pineapple on top to even out the flavors of you've never tried cottage cheese it's good!

My fit ex wf showed me a great SUPER easy/portable snack.

Container of Cottage cheese. Add black pepper/spices and a container of cherry tomatoes. Delicious and filling for late afternoon.

this too.

buy the $6 microwave hard boiled egg maker on amazon and your life will change.

you're about 7 minutes away from 4 perfectly boiled eggs anytime of day or night.

Haha I wasn't expecting much out of it. But I sprankled shredded fiesta blend cheese on top and broiled for about 3-4 min at the end. I was in awe. My gf thought I was stupid. "BABE!! THESE ARE GOOD AS frickING SAMMY'S!!!" She wasn't impressed.

Good call. Also, For breakfast in under 2 minutes(One egg will scramble in 50 seconds in a puny microwave). Get the $3 egg cooker(online price is bullshite) from Walmart as well. Changed my coworker's life. He's been making poached/scrambled egg sammiches for breakfast in the break room for months now.

Third ingredient is sugar and a bit down is "natural flavor" (probably more sugars that don't have to be reported)

Unflavored nuts are much better for you. Hidden sugars are the vice of all of these flavored nuts.
