For me, it has been roommate issues, disliking spouses, and it's about to be over money and rental car tickets.

Caught my best bud from high school railing my GF when I woke up at 4am to take a drunken piss.

Drove that mfer to school for 3 years and was living with him at the time. Wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him now. He's done so much shady shite to guys in our old friend group since high school

People mature at different paces or simply interests change over time and slowly lose track. As people get older they're less willing to put up with people's shite. Something I may have put up with at a younger age to have friends or someone to hang out with, I just don't anymore. Most things I'd rather just do alone.

I've lost a few close friends to marriage and/or kids. Still considered friends, but just live different lifestyles now and find different things entertaining.

Also, relocation for jobs, etc.

Sounds more like the problem was a slut for a girlfriend.

Stealing, blaming personal problems on me, and a stabbing in the back that still hurts to this day

Not having kids. One of my good friends from just outside of HS thought it was horrific that I wasn't in a rush to have kids or that we didn't have kids at the same time so that our friendship would be one long arse play date. She didn't know how to still have adult outings independent of her kids.

Had a friend of mine married the first woman he dated, married and had two kids with her.

He's gay now.

I guess that change of events always strains your relationships with friends even when you want to support and wish them the best.

Yep not arguing that. That wasn't really what tore us apart. I still lived with him after because hoes are hoes so I didnt take it too rough.

But over the next few years he got wrapped up in drugs, stole from our friends, etc.

It was a buildup over time.

When their SO gets all jealous because we're having a good time dancing, drinking and spending time together.

ETA: Crap. That could be my SO getting mad too. Hmmmmmm
