dentistry
This.
If you’re smart enough, you can knock out the undergrad prerequisites in 3 years, then after 4 years of dental school you’re starting at $100K+. No lengthy residencies (unless you want to specialize), easy 9-5 hours, 4 days/week once you’re established, no weekends, rare emergency calls, etc. Much easier path than physicians and damn good money.

Work in retail for a couple of years (if you can stand it). This will make you appreciate an education.

If you have any mechanical ability and common sense: Finish your BS/BA degree (that's a contingency plan), then enroll in a PTEC program and get it knocked out ASAP. Work in operations at a plant.
You can make great money, all the while streaming the latest movies/sleeping while working nights, and also bitch when maintenance comes in the BRM/control room for a permit while your feet's propped up on the desk.
That's kinda the path I took, and don't regret it. Forgot to add....all your other friends with their degrees will be mad at you when they are pulling in 50K a year.

Unless they come out with these robots in the next 4 years, I think my wife will be good. But when they do come out with them, you can update me at my beach house. I will leave you the address

What careers do you think will be obsolete? Financial advisors, attorneys, doctors, etc.?

Our market is truly saturated now. I tell all the interns I know to apply for residencies and to get a specialty bc the retail setting is ridiculously saturated. I hated working for a chain but sucked it up until I paid my loans off in 5 years. Now I manage an independent pharmacy and love coming to work everyday.

Go to PA school. Trust me on this. It’s worth every second of studying once you get to the end/career

My wife has worked a few independent places and liked them. She has been at Northside Hospital for 21 years and is now doing all the Nutrition work for them. Loves the job and will be done in 4 more years

Medical. Only career you can become wealthy just doing your job. Attorneys and engineers do well, but typically some risks or ownership is required to make serious money.

Any skilled trade (carpenter, electrician, specialty welding etc) witha business background. Start a company doing those and $$$$ will follow.
Doctors and nurses are always in demand. There's also a huge pilot shortage currently, which I wish I would have pursued.

One thing is don’t listen to these people saying do what you love. Nobody likes their job
Do something where you get paid good

Engineering of most types, mechanical especially. Opens lots of doors into great companies that wouldn’t give a second glance otherwise. You don’t even have to do it in your career necessarily, just opens doors
