Businesses can’t find employees.
So many jobs and people at home sitting on their a$$es. What are they getting each month for not working? Is the government doing this with free stuff? I thought that was over. Educate me please.

Doesn't mean people are sitting at home without a job.

I don’t know if I agree with this as a whole. Businesses can’t find employees for shite jobs I.E. working as a cashier at Taco Bell for 48 hours per week from 5 PM-3 AM for $9.25 an hour. I haven’t heard of any white collar businesses having staffing issues, I may be wrong on that though

over 20% of those that resigned from a job in the past 18 months cashed out their 401Ks

im sure they can find workers if they were willing to pay them. If they would rather close, then maybe that’s in their business plan. I doubt it has anything to do with them just not having workers.

The dentist I called last week doesn’t have an assistant or receptionist - his dad or brother is answering the phones

I think a lot of theses jobs used to be done by teenagers as it was expected even in more well off families and I think the high schoolers from middle class and upper families are no longer working as much, instead doing other extracurriculars to get to college.
