My dad use to put things like this together.

LINK

He built his own RC airplane then decided he wanted to put together a ship like this. It took him 3 or 4 years. Its tedious work, but its pretty damn cool once its finished.

I thought the height requirements were like 5'4" to 6'5" or something like that for the military?

You can design something to build out of legos. Sounds like kid shite, but think of something, maybe a specific building, design your own house, etc. Go to the lego website and I think you can order pieces by color.. But you can figure out the dimensions, design it then build it.

Jesus that sounds sad. May as well have told the OP to get into model trains.

I fiddle on a guitar, not very well.

I really enjoy cigars and collect them as well.

I want to learn golf since I live on a course and am a member of a club. I’ve hit exactly one ball in my life.

Already know a second language fluently, but wouldn’t mind learning another one.

How much did that cost, and how did you get started? I’ve always wanted to learn. I wanted to be a fighter pilot when I was a teen, but I was too short. I’d love to learn how to fly cesnas and the like

The average cost these days is around $10K for a private pilot's license, which allows you to carry passengers and whatnot. It's very doable, but you need to commit to flying as frequently as possible so you don't waste your money having to re-learn skills you've forgotten because you haven't flown. There are companies that will finance it for you at a reasonable rate.

Find a local flight school nearby, call them up and tell them you want to take a discovery flight. Usually costs about $100, and you'll get to fly the plane and all. It's a no obligation, fun flight, and that'll give you an idea of whether or not it's something you want to pursue.
