We have a lady come every two months to do deep clean, IOW, the shite we don't want to do. Windows, bathtubs, ceiling fans/light fixtures, wipe down doors, mop screen porch, etc...
charges 250 per trip but its worth it

Yes, I call her wife.
All jokes aside, we still tidy up every day and do laundry, dishes and floors throughout the week.

Let me talk to my estate manager and ask him what the housekeepers do, I don’t directly handle such affairs

Disclaimer: I live in Colombia so labor is ridiculously cheap here.
Mine is sent from God. Here is a typical day for her.
7:00 - arrives and starts coffee, squeezes fresh orange juice and my breakfast (always an omelette).
8:00 - starts her daily cleaning, making my bed, laundry etc.
12:00 - 1:00 - wraps up lunch.
1:00 - 6:00 - more cleaning, buys groceries, random to-do lists, etc.
Throughout the day she makes fresh juices, more coffee, cuts fruit and serves it to me while I'm in my office.
I could never afford this in USA but she makes my life very easy for $250 a month.

$160 every 2 weeks. Normal stuff, changes sheets, sweeps, vacuums, mops, dusts, cleans kitchen, whatever...it’s not a deep cleaning. I live uptown New Orleans, so I’m sure that makes a difference money wise.

Mine comes every other week for $60. She’s usually there about 3-4 hours and does your basic cleaning duties. Hell she even clean toilets
She charges extra for laundry though

We have problems with the second tier housekeepers on the third shift. Have replaced 3 in the last 2 months.

Mine comes twice a week and she cleans, does laundry, dishes etc. doesn’t cook at all, wish she did. My kids nanny when they were younger cooked a couple days a week and that was nice. One of those days house keeper comes she changes all sheets. Comes on Tuesdays and Friday so the house is clean for the weekend and only have to make it through Monday with dirty house. Works well for us

$65 a week. Washes/folds towels and linens only, trash, sweeps, mops, blinds
Supposed to be 2 hrs but my wife almost always "pre cleans" the night before she comes. Dont ask me why

I do not have any large homes as my kids moved out years ago. Just do not need the room anymore. Eventually, I will sell my home in BR and move to Toledo Bend full time.
In BR 2 cats that seem to live inside and shed hair along with a dog.
Use to have one come in and clean Livingroom, kitchen, and dining room on Monday. Tuesday clean the bedrooms and bathrooms. I am semi retired and clean it now.
Toledo Bend house I clean that when I go up there not that bad to clean 3bd/ 2 bath house.
New Brighton, MN I have a house next to my daughter’s house. I have someone clean it once a month in the winter and once a week in the summer when I stay up there. Mostly dust, clean floors, clean bathrooms, vacuum couch and furniture when my cats and dog are there.

Same.
$60 every other Thursday for sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing the bathroom sink/shower/toilet and kitchen areas to include refrigerator and oven. We like to change our own bedding and do our own laundry so I think she makes up for it with some small stuff. She always deep cleans our humidifiers and coffee pots with vinegar. Wipes down the cast-iron skillet with a fresh dab of oil. Scours build up on the stovetop.
Her work here takes about 3-ish hours but it's worth it to have the house clean for the weekend without doing it yourself every now and then and especially when you have company.

We have a little bawette who has her own cleaning business come in and clean our office every other week. She wears Nike shorts in summer and yoga pants in winter. IDK exactly what she does but it spices up our Fridays
Sure Jim, sounds nice
