Definitely need to do this. Really haven’t worked out since the military. Back then it was easy to destroy my body, wake up and pt. Now I’m afraid to look like a little girl at the gym.

Gotta take that first step baw. Swallow your ego

Probably more so laziness than ego tbh lol. Or afraid of hurting myself since it’s been a minute.

I broke my femur when I was 30 in a bad car wreck. I’m 34 now. I had to have a couple surgeries to get the bone to heal back together. Also, the inside quad on that leg never “woke up” is how it was explained to me.

I can’t stand on that leg only for more than 15 seconds or so before I start to wobble. If I’m standing still for long periods of time I feel it. When I stand, I rock back and forth to keep from having trouble. Sharp changes in the weather, I can feel it.

So, 30.

A few days ago when I blacked out after working out - put a 6.5" gash in my scalp, gave the other side of my head a nice gash too - had to get 11 staples to put it back together. Blood pressure was lower than I've ever seen when I went to the doc.

ETA - age 51 - no other physical problems other than almost killing myself by falling down.

No BS. The day I turned 40 I got out of bed and my knee was hurting for no reason.

Also, I had been out the day before shooting a S&W 500 and my trigger finger was swollen.

So yeah, 40 was when things starting taking a turn.

I'm 38 and only thing I've noticed is that spot kind of where the forearm and elbow meet on the side gets sore on both arms. I don't know if it's joint or tendon or muscle or what

Didn’t know how many of you guys were going through all this shite. I have had a bunch of surgeries for the past few years. I get the struggle. Good to spend some of the time with you all.

When I turned 50 as a gag gift my parents gave me a bottle of GERITOL vitamins. We laughed but I was aching all of the time and thought what the hell so I started taking them.
4 days later I felt a BIG difference in not hurting so much. Take your vitamins.

That’s why I posted. I see my FIL puffin down rolled smokes and natties everyday. I can’t imagine how he feels, but I assume the booze hides it.

Me I’ve had multiple surgeries, military, and athletic. I only eat once a day, def need to fix that and do some stretchin.
