They attempt to take people’s ability to drink beer at the house while having to be closed in with a ton of family day after day, will cause anarchy

I heard all of JBE’s double talk, if that’s what you’re asking. He still didn’t say anything about beer. So naturally I have to come to the OT to read through the lines for me.

Can't speak for Louisiana, but package stores are considered essential in Massachusetts.

It's Boston, if people can't get drunk there will be riots.

Another interesting aside here... are they closing liquor distilleries or plants? Because if so, wouldn’t that severely limit the supply in the US?

Grocery stores and convenience stores sell beer as well as the essential food to stay open. You will be good.

So why is the distribution of beer and liquor stopping, but not everything else that you have in a grocery store?

Edit: Buddy if mine is a rep for gas stations and grocery stores and he is busy as shite right now. The restaurant reps have slowed work down, obviously...

Grocery stores can’t sell beer if distributors don’t ship to them. Alcohol isn’t considered essential.

Liquor stores are considered essential because of the amount of alcoholics that would flood the ER’s with DT’s

This “rule” has been in place since Friday in New Orleans and there was a beer truck delivering to Superior Seafood on St Charles yesterday.

They aren’t going to shut down commerce or the economy
