Fun fact: The original name of the song (and still the title of the song in every country around the world except America) was “9 to 5”… the title was changed when released in the USA as to avoid confusion with another song and movie released around the same time entitled “9 to 5” starring Dolly Parton, who also contributed the theme song.. i am old enough to remember seeing it in a theater, check it out if you haven’t , it’s worth a laugh or two .. and the theme song by Dolly is extremely catchy, even moreso than Sheena’s song .
