The only one about to make profits is the ole baw they gonna have to pay to get those robot skidders unstuck. It's tough enough logging in Louisiana piney woods as it is. Wall-E aint gonna have a clue how to hammer down to get out of the pickle he's in.

Autonomous skidders that drag felled trees around logging sites. A database detailing each tree in the forest. A screen that shows loggers which trees to cut and which to leave standing to maximize financial returns decades down the line.
Weyerhaeuser WY 0.48%increase; green up pointing triangle, the country’s top logger and one of its oldest companies, is betting artificial intelligence can deliver these and other big changes to American forestry, which has come a long way from oxen and axes.

Can they make some extra robots to severely beat the hippies looking to block logging?

Hopefully, AI will still be able to move the logs on shitty, wore-out trucks with no brakes lights or tags.
That's tradition!

Why do I have visions of the Chinese food autonomous delivery vehicles doing the same thing in the forest.

Screw Weyerhaeuser, bunch of carpetbagging SOBs. They care nothing for their loggers nor the communities they are raping.

I wonder if the robot skidders will ruin roads on a property like the human ones
I hate loggers. The vast majority of them will destroy roads, bridges, and ditches.
They are the worst people. Far lower than ambulance chasing lawyers, used car salesmen, or Tennessee fans.

No corporate C-suite cares for the regular people. In fact, they hate you.

Not only will they wreck your forests but they won’t provide jobs either. What a future we’re building.

Dillon, with his degree from the School of Hard Knocks and whose logger job was taken by the AI logging robot, will argue to his grave that UBI is socialism brought upon by Barack HUSSEIN Obama
