I saw this yesterday.
With me and the wife being the white adoptive parents of a black girl, whom we adopted as an infant and who turned 9 last Tuesday, this makes me irrationally angry. There is no excuse for this evil. They are kids for God's sake. There are families w/o kids who would have loved those kids unconditionally and given them a great home.
frick these evil racist motherfrickers. Hope they burn in Hell. They should be thrown off of the New River Gorge bridge and hear them splatter when they hit the river 1,000 ft.below.
ETA: It's West Virginia. So I shouldn't be that shocked.

A judge made the slave comment which doesn’t seem smart if she is going to be the trial judge (I don’t know). They could be pieces of shite who treat their adopted kids poorly (or real kids) regardless of race, but I guess that would somewhat depend on the trafficking charge which just reading article seems to be included only because the adopted kids are black.
I would hope adoption process and agents are being investigated. Before any of the behavior alleged in indictment they seem kind of old to be approved to adopt 5 kids all together or even if done over several years. It seems like they should have been vetted a little more than a couple in their 30s.

I wondered about this since article in OP is from Sky and may have mixed up terminology, but I also read it in the local news report which also says the kids were adopted in Washington before all later moved to West Virginia after learning they were being investigated in Washington.

Sissonville was where that mtv reality show with the rednecks was. The main dude died offroading from carbon monoxide poisoning when they slept in the truck with the exhaust submerged.

Didn't read the article...is there evidence this is the reason for doing the awful things they've done or did they just take advantage of a broken system that had this many black kids in their care? If it turns out they treated white kids like this in the past are they still "racists"? Will the black caretakers that have been caught on video mistreating white kids get the same "hate crime" setup from a judge?
This can be set up right for summer of love 2 level of unrest going into the fall.
Not excusing what they did to the kids, but throwing the racism card out starts to overshadow the actual bigger problem.
