No. I was just happy when my dad didn’t get drunk and beat the shite out of me.

I wasn't. Got $2 allowance every week and $20 for my birthday. Took me forever to buy me a NES lol. My parents gave me $200 a year for school clothes in high school also. Drove a 88 cavalier for my first car in 1995

the very act of being spoiled gives them a warped sense of reality to where they dont know or can see they were being spoiled.

Yes. Only child.

And it's caught up to me now as I'm older.

No. I was poor and a stepchild. But I hung out with a lot of kids who were rich and spoiled from nuclear families.

Most of them turned out to be assholes

If spoiled means having an alcoholic father who was in and out of your life and eventually you find out that he molested your sister and the icing on the cake was your mother still stays with him then yes I was spoiled rotten :)

Define spoiled. Most months water, electricity, gas were not turned off and we had food. Now the end of the month was tight, lots of tuna or hot dogs. My mom was a teacher and got one check a month. Now that I’m thinking about it, she supported 3 kids and herself on 1200/month. Pretty impressive
