You know what's crazy, I don't agree with a lot of what he said either.

Wild, I know, for people like you to recognize there can be independent opinions outside of your leaders talking points.

You're not supposed to, but you can apply, and it's up to the employer to prove you didn't earn UI.

If you can't get anyone at the unemployment office to answer the phone or put you through to an investigator, you can't prove the freeloader didn't earn it.

I have been through this process.

I know right? Not anything similar to the circle jerk that you and Mingo have had going on this entire thread

And this process is happening quite often now. No checks and balances and plenty are gaining the benefits

Yea i know my I’m just using my experience as an example

I have a POS brother who I’ve mentioned in this thread and he did this, he got a letter back that he is not eligible

My thread has nothing to do with people quitting for unemployment and more with people who were laid off and don’t wanna come back

Him saying it doesn't make it evidence.

And for about the half dozenth time, yes it happens, but acting like it's the reason that every restaurant has a hiring sign has no credence.

it will be interesting to see what happens with all the states that are now ending the federal aid

if everyone doesn't all of a sudden go back to work, what will the excuse be?

In this board? Whatever McConnell and Cruz tell them it is. They don't know yet, but when they get theirarching orders they'll be ready.

Yeah, if you didn't work in 2019 you probably had a hard time getting on the gravy train, if at all.

The problem now is that you can't find people to work low-paid hourly jobs when they're already on unemployment. Between my wife and I, we have 3 jobs in 3 different industries, and that is a constant.

Yeah, minimum wage should be higher, but you can't snap your fingers and fix that.

OK, what would it take?

Genuinely, what would convince you and make say "you know what, I was wrong, it's the unemployment benefits"

Blank check, describe your perfect evidence.

Yes, employers across the country are saying the exact same thing, and Mingo thinks he knows better than all of them.

Any verifiable evidence that points to the fact. A single piece of data that's genesis isn't word of mouth by a poster that has turned every topic into "its the liberals fault"

I don't believe idiots like Spleen either

Right, because applicants telling me that they only applied to meet job search requirements isn't evidence.

You rejecting the evidence because it doesn't support your hypothesis does not equal "no evidence".

10 pages over how debatable this "evidence" is and you just now slide in with this brilliant insight.

So...my sister-in-law's "lived experience"? (to borrow a term from the lefties)

Assuming for the sake of discussion that I'm not lying and neither is she...would that not qualify as "one single piece of data"?

And if not, then please describe what such a piece of data would look like?

That's evidence, but it's not compelling for multiple reasons.

One, how many? 3, 4, 5? Either way not a material amount and you're being non specific, I expect on purpose

Two, you have already decided who's fault it is. Biden fricked it up and his gravy train is the reason. You can shout at the sky for the last 18 months blaming literally every problem on the same thing and then me take your word on it when you blame the next one on that too

I can tell you that the end of January I was fully staffed and by mid March I was the shortest staffed we have ever been.

Applications stopped coming in like Thanos had just snapped his fingers. Now why could that be???
