Got 8 siblings, though.

OK. The world is in the dark. But not you... You're "in the know". Gotcha.

I think we need to drop another hundred or so and really get the job done. I am all for it.

They avoided the chemical weapons depo on this strike. If they wanted to take Assad out they could but they don't. This was all for PR. Hey, but oil prices just rose because of this strike...hmmm

I have the perfect solution. We take out Assad and move in the Palestinians to replace the syrians that left. Boom, two birds one stone.

From the looks of the Russian news footage at the airbase, the damage was minimal. The hardened hangars look to still be in tact.
The runway has some craters that can be patched quickly.
I like how the Syrians made sure to show aircraft were still parked in the hardened hangars as if saying the attack was "weak"... I highly doubt those aircraft were parked there the night of the attack

$90 million doesn't go as far as it used to I guess.

What is the rationale for not lobbing missiles from afar to show Syria and Russia we are watching? We have not put boots on the ground. What is the reservation about flexing American muscle, while protecting the weak?
Please explain.
Please explain.

Thankfully Russia did not sustain any losses, man or machine

Or our action will galvanize anti western sentiments...again
Yeah, ummm ... 'anti western sentiments' are "galvanized" regardless of 'our actions.' It didn't turn out so well for us that the previous impotent 'president' catered to that bullshite. Obviously & thankfully, we're doing something different than the nothing of the last abomination of an administration.
Geezus, people freaking the frick out over a targeted strike against a psychopath who uses chemicals on his own people. Brace yourselves, no doubt there are more to come, hopefully. ... Good thing some of you snowflakes weren't around when Reagan was; you'd have melted right out of existence. ... On second thought, born too late.

I believe over 1,000, or at least that's the plan

This could be true but I'd suspect those "aircraft" weren't very valuable.
One fuel depot is inconsequential. These guys aren't starved for fuel
In the aerial image, the runway looks like it could be operational quickly. There does appear to be damage to most of the buildings but if I had to gues, this airbase will be back to full service in 5-7 days
If this is the only strike by the US, Assad should feel emboldened

The US has the capability and intel to make their entire military worthless pretty quick.

Just taking direction from the President's history.
I'm glad he changed direction on it, and I hope there is more to come.
