The NAACP warned you not to go. Why didn't you listen?

Miami is sick
Yes it is it’s own little world
Not for everyone
But it is a world class city

Odd looking back at it after so many years. Before Castro, Miami was mostly old southern families or midwesterners and New Yorkers thrown in. Dade County probably had 300,000 people in the late 50s early 60s. Miami Beach had mostly Jews and Italians, but had a small permanent population. When I was growing up, there were about six high schools. I think Dade County might now have more people than the state of Alabama.

Ft. Lauderdale >> Miami. Both the airport and the general vibe.

He's just mad he couldn't find a decent place that served meatloaf with ketchup.
Homebro whines about a place where people speak mostly Spanish but dates an Iranian. The absolute nerve.

South Florida has exploded and continues to. You can drive from homestead to Jupiter and never feel like you’ve left the “city.” That’s about 130 miles. You can only build so far west so it’s all going north.

People joke about Miami and getting shot, but frick I think I'd actually be scared for my life in New Orleans and in general most of that state.

Was last there in 2001. Every fast food joint we stopped at I had to ask the cashier taking the order if they had somebody working that spoke English.

You can't be this new to life. Here's a PSA for you- most of S. Fla is this way. You want to hang with the stiffs you need to go to 30A.

Yes they work hard off the table and funnel money across the boarder to get their friends over and then do the same thing over and over. For the most part they will make a lot of money do a lot of jobs well and not pay any taxes while getting free healthcare and living off food stamps from the govt.

can’t hardly go to Houston without getting in trouble with the Latina’s. They’re my weakness
Me too, they're are plenty of smoking's chicas around here. I'm trying to learn the language better so I can talk to the ones that only speak Spanish. One of these smoke shows has to need a green card.

They also were not a fan of Obama’s policies on repairing relations with communist Cuba. That did permanent damage

I mean God damn no one spoke English.
I lived there for year and a half and it was definitely strange that no one was speaking English. So I took some Spanish lessons at the U. The instructor told me that a lot of Hispanics think learning / speaking English is beneath them. Hell if I move to a foreign country the first damn thing I’m doing is learning the language.

maybe dry foot Cubans but that's complete nonsense in Spanish speaking countries outside of the US, learning to speak English enhances their earning capability

Your instructor was on crack. They are just too lazy to learn the language, that's all.

To an extent, it’s still mostly midwesterners and NYers who are moving there and it’s been like that for a long time. I read that there’s close to 510,000 former Ohio residents living in Florida now. Can’t really blame Ohioans for moving, but NYers and all of the east coast yuppies should stay the frick out of Florida regardless of what political party they vote for. New England states have too many damn people and a super dense population that’s moving out in masses to other states and driving up the cost of living
