Yeah, the food stuff makes zero sense to me. Why would anyone be eating differently than normal during this time? Sandwich bread .. how many sandwiches are you people eating? That has to get old.

Yep, we buy all paper products, trash bags, and cleaning supplies at HD.

I have a recipe for Navajo flat bread that’s really easy to make if anyone is interested. It’s basically naan

Who are these people? I don't think I know anyone who went to the store and bought the frick out of toilet paper. Well at least no one told me they did. But you would think by now people would realize there isn't a problem in production so there is no need to buy as much as possible at once.

Why are they not raising the prices on toilet paper? Supply and demand right? If people want all of the toilet paper make them sons a bitches pay.

There’s more of a shortage of paper products than food, should tell you where our priorities are

I was at the grocery store a couple of days ago and watched a guy just start loading cartons of canned beans into his cart. I thought that was risky with the lack of tp. Then I thought I should follow him because that's the type of thing you do when you know you've got the tp to handle it.

Went to my Kroger this am in Dallas and it was pretty fully stocked. Some empty stuff in the middle aisles but tons of TP and Paper Towels. Tons of eggs too.

Didn't even buy any since I have 10 Mega rolls left

My takeaway from all this is that a lot of people don't cook or eat at home. Instead they eat out every night. There is increased demand now that everyone is home.

Still don't understand the TP...unless they normally handle business on company time.

TP is in stock at a lot of places right now. Grocery stores have been ghost towns this week after being jam packed for 2 weeks. It's super eerie.

I don't need toilet paper. Far from it. And it is not from buying any in the last two weeks. Just always have a large supply of paper goods.

I just like to look around and see what the idiots have been up to whenever I go to a grocery store.

Today I got six 12-packs of Diet Rite, 12-pack of Corona Extra, a Nolan Ryan Angus chuck roast, Ken's ranch dressing, chocolate chip cookies and Doritos. Fell for Kroger's ole buy five and save $5 again. But the Ken's ranch was only $1.49 per bottle - hell of a deal. I only buy sale items at Kroger.

Love me some naan.

If I was a super crazy bread person I would get a bread pan, bread slicer and the frozen bread dough at Walmart or another grocers store. We use that for stuffed bread and the bread by itself tastes damn good to me.

I have always wondered how it would be if you just made a loaf of bread out of it. It's a cool little submarine shaped thing. When you take it out to thaw it doubles or triples in size.

Yeah, I like to watch bread dough thaw.

Never really thought about it until I read this. If I saw a shopper once, I probably saw them three times. The same people on every other aisle. I think we were all just checking out the damage.

Kroger never seems to be busy (this is the first time in weeks I have been to a Kroger) but they were very UN-BUSY today or I would have just grabbed my stuff and got the hell out. It was a leisurely shopping experience today.

Yeah it's kinda funny because this week they've started keeping a count of customers in the store so they could limit if needed, but so few people are shopping that I haven't seen anyone have to limit people yet.

I'm still trying to figure out why people think toilet paper is the best thing they can invest in in the unlikely event that SHTF. How about non-perishables? Toilet paper isn't going to save your life when you're starving to death.
