This was the toilet paper and paper towel aisle. This was at 11:42. This is with a limit of 1 per customer. Rice and noodles were about the same. A lot of holes in the canned goods, especially the soup section.

I used to think the panic shopping was comical.

But after seeing the looks on a few faces of people who turned down the aisle hoping and looking like they really needed toilet paper it is not funny anymore.

I’m thinking 6 months to a year from now we’ll hear on the news that toilet paper manufactures had to lay off workers because there isn’t a demand for it.

With all this hysterical buying people have years supply stockpiled

And Gov’t will bail them out.

you can really tell when the store recently got a shipment of a certain item. I haven't seen bread in two weeks...yesterday afternoon my grocer had a whole, stocked aisle. Didn't have much else, though.

Went to the Wal Mart on Veterans in Metairie on Tuesday and was able to get toilet paper as they were just putting it out. We were on our last 2 rolls.

No Lysol or any cleaning supplies outside of Fabuloso and toilet tablets on the shelf.

It's crazy and there's no excuse for it.

There was a high school aged young man who was in line who had four packages of eggs. He was told he had to put two back.

Good thing I don't like eggs or this shortage would bother me.

Turns out preppers had the right idea for the wrong reason.

In the future, everybody needs to stockpile for some sort of crisis, not because the supply lines will be destroyed but because 90% of the people are idiots.

Facebook needs to help solve this problem they helped create by releasing a post saying that spraying Lysol directly into your mouth is the best way to combat the virus and letting it go, well, viral.

I’m convinced at this point people who already have 15 cases of toilet paper are continuing to buy more just in case

and still no explanation as to why people are hoarding TP......

I can't figure out either of these.

The news here in Houston said people were starting to get their own chickens so they can get eggs from them. Said they were getting yard chickens.

Hell, the TP makes more sense than the eggs.

Who's buying all the eggs and where are they keeping them?

Are we about to see a surge in people getting sick because they ate eggs that they bought refrigerated and then stored at room temperature?

At first the whole toilet paper thing was funny but now it's getting to be less funny as I go through my normal supply.
