I remember when there was talk of converting the old La Wildlife & Fisheries building in the quarter - that is now used as the state Supreme Court - to high end formal casino. Something nice where people could eat in a fine restaurant then walk over.
Then they realized casinos run off the trashy people pulling slots while riding in scooters, pulling O2 tanks, and expecting free buffets. I wish they never built the damn thing, it's garbage.

Wait. What? They aren’t going to allow buses, taxis, Uber on the Blvd? We are talking about the street in front of the Center correct? What is the plan? Make convention attendees get out blocks away and walk in the heat and rain? Tell me that’s not the plan.

last night I had a great meal and drinks at Pizza Domenica and saw a rocking show at tips.
no traffic, no problem parking or getting in and out, had a blast caught a nice buzz and got home safe

The area under the bridge is going to be the transportation hub for the convention center. Drop off/pick up location. Walk through the convention center if its too hot/raining.
